Have you been feeling the urge to redecorate? If you're like me, you get that urge often!  I get it, sometimes, it can be difficult to know where to start when attempting to find affordable decorations for your apartment. But, redecorating your space helps you develop your own sense of style, which I find to be a rewarding treat of getting older. After spending much of 2020 within the 4 walls of my own apartment, I've had ample time to pick apart everything that I hated about my home decor, and the few things that I liked. 

Typically, I like to switch up my decor based on the season- Christmas decorations, of course, spring/summer decor and fall decor, which mainly consists of lots of pumpkin spice, warm vanilla and maple candles just about everywhere. I find that changing your interior decor throughout the year, even if it's just a little bit, lights a spark of inspiration and happiness that serves as an aid to help get me through the weeks. 

To me, there's nothing better than walking into a freshly clean, organized and decorated home. Something about it helps to clear my mind so that I can be productive, put me at ease and encourages me not to procrastinate.  Somehow, though, I still end up procrastinating lol.  

One of the reasons that I love interior design is the endless amounts of creativity it lends you. However, decorating a whole apartment can get very expensive!  Once you purchase one vase, your bound to purchase another one soon!  Similarly, after purchasing one piece of art, you suddenly realize that you need 3 more for the bathroom, the guest room and the dining room! 

It wasn't until I started putting in a real effort to decorate my space that I realized how financially invested you have to be in order to put together a cohesive look for your apartment.
